The Neuroscience of Personality April 10, 2010, 8:30 - 4:30 (registration starts at 8:00) Dario Nardi, Ph.D PSU University Place Conference Center |
At the intersection of neuroscience and personality, UCLA professor Dr. Dario Nardi has discovered that people of different psychological types don't merely rely on different brain regions. They use their brains in fundamentally different ways. On April 10, Dr. Nardi will present a two-part interactive workshop. Read the brochure. The morning session "Brain Savvy Insights into Psychological Types" reviews the Jungian personality model and uses anecdotes, hands-on activities and colorful mind map images to highlight insights gained in Nardi's neuroscience laboratory, including ways people enter into and stay in a state of creative flow. In the afternoon, "8 Keys to Self-Leadership" applies basic and advanced use of Jung's eight processes to improve personal flexibility and competence in daily life. Early registrants will receive online access to the InterStrength Cognitive Assessment. This workshop is approved for 6 CE credits with APA, NBCC and MBTI Master Practioner Mail your registration form by March 1 and save $10!
